Layout-

On the left side of the page there is a menu with in order: Pet Central, Create a pet, Neomail, World, explore, Chat, Games, Shops, News, Login, Logout.

Pet Central: This is where you can take part in competitions, and access you neo-home, items, etc from the bar at the top of the page.

Create a pet: This is where you can get you first pet or pets, you are allowed up to four pets at one time, with every pet you create you get about 50 Neopoints, (NP) and a welcome pack, (a few plushies or toys, and some food.)

Neomail: This is just like a real e-mail account, it has inbox, sent folder, etc, also from this place you can make neofriends, which if you read further in the opinion you will find out more about that.

World: I don’t usually click on this because there is very little in it but the contents of this link are: Neopia date and time, total owners and total pets, and coming soon.

Explore: This will bring a picture of a world up, with lots of small pictures and labels on it, such as Faerieland, Lost Desert, Haunted Woods, Terror Mountain, etc.
From these links you can access freebies, kiosk and so on.

Chat: If you are a certain age group you can access chat, and if other members are on that chat room you can discuss Neopets and website addresses and so on.

Games: If you click on this menu button you will have four big pictures and labels come up, Action, Puzzles, Luck and chance and featured game.
There is a game called Cheat, where you and you opponents try and get rid of all your cards and win a battlecard and Neopoints, they will stop at nothing so when you think they are cheating you must press accuse...of cheating, but sometimes you are not always right.
Also there is a game called poogle solitaire where you have to move Poogles about to get one in the middle if you do this you get 650 Neopoints, there is also a walkthro

Shops: This is where you buy things for your Neopet and for your shop, also on the main page you can book your Neopets into the neolodge at various prices.
Also if you click on more shops you will come to shops like the chocolate factory, Hubert's Hotdogs, etc.
Also there is a marketplace where you can buy things cheaply.

News: If you click on this it will take you directly to the Neopian news.

Login: This is where you login or sign-up to Neopets

Logout: Click this and you will be logged out immediately, if you want to login again you will have to click login and enter your username and password.

Freebies: If you go to the Lost Desert and click on coltzan's shrine and press Approach the shrine you will probably get a point of defence or attack or agility, etc, if you are lucky you will get some Neopoints, most of the time you will get about 200 Neopoints but you can get up to 700 Neopoints.
Also in the Lost Desert there is a fruit machine you get one free spin per day, you mainly win items on this.
In Mystery Island there is Tombola which is free but can only be used once a day like all the freebies apart from the snowager.
If you go to Terror Mountain and click on ice caves, from there you can click on snowager and if he is asleep you can take something from him, normally it is a plushie.

Wheels: If you click on the explore button and go to Faerieland you can go on the wheel of excitement which costs 100 Neopoints, (if you do this on an hour you have a 90% chance of winning 10000 Neopoints.
If you click on the explore button and go to Tyrannia there is the wheel of mediocrity there which costs 50 Neopoints,
Also when you click the explore button if you go to the Haunted woods and from there go to the deserted fairground there is the wheel of misfortune there which also costs 50 Neopoints.

Kiosk: If you click on the explore button and go t
o Terror mountain and from there go to the ice caves if you click on the kiosk button it will ask you if you want a scratch-card, it will cost 600 Neopoints but can earn you up to 10000 Neopoints or a plushie worth 5000 Neopoints if you decide to sell it in your shop or you can get a snowball worth about 50 Neopoints.

Cheap Garage Sale: If you go to explore and go to Terror Mountain and go to ice caves and then to top of the mountain and click on garage sale, usually they are out of stock but it is well worth looking.
