Advantages: lots of resources and exposure

Disadvantages: relatively new and a little awkward in layout/navigation

Nessmp3 is a new website for musicians and has popped up recently in a swoosh of brand new innovative music websites aimed at unsigned and independant musicians and bands and music lovers and potential fans. The site is hosted on the same server as the-muzic.com and is of very similar layout and design. The administrators claim that the two sites are nothing to do with each other, they are just hosted on the same sever, that's all.

Independant artists can create a free artist account which gives them the ability to upload mp3's and videos, advertise events and sell their own merchandise through a shopping cart. Artists can also set up their own profile containing their biography and/or repertoire.

Music lovers and fans can create a free account and search for new artists music, some of which may be undiscovered. They also then have the ability to listening to music streaming or download and purchase music. Members can also rate and review tracks, host their own blog and create their own radio stations.

The site layout and functionality can be a little awkward at times and difficult to navigate your way around, but after a few hours looking about you'll soon get the hang of it.

Summary: Not a bad site for musicians and fans but a little tricky to use
