Where would I be without News Now??? My main use for the site is to get the football news for my team. The site takes news stories and features from what seems like, every football resource going ranging from official websites, fan pages and national and local papers. As the news feed updates, it also keeps track of when the story was added. For instance, I had a story published 'within 15 minutes' and now it says 'within 30 minutes'. Newsnow, it's a website which updates every 5 minutes (or with every refresh) a specific topic that someone is interested in, it's a site that allows you to search for items that will be on some news website and look, periodically, at the newest news articles relating to the topic you are searching for. This is one of my must-read websites for keeping up with the latest news in areas that I am interested in. It is basically a news feed that pulls together news articles from most of the big newspapers and websites from around the world and posts the links in a regularly updated feed. The feed is usually updated somewhere between every five minutes and every day depending on how often news related to the area in question breaks. Newsnow really is a fantastic site to use if you are looking for the latest news, there really is hardly another site that will beat this for the sheer volume of information that it will deliver when you search for something. The site is very simple and quite easy to use overall, there is a small search box on the top left on the site where you can search for what ever you want to find out news about.
