I dealt with two people Liam Fox and Jemma Logan. When I showed an intetrest in a Nochex merchant account, Liam went out of his way to take the signup fee of £50 from me. I verified my id and bank details and sent two sets of terms and conditions off to them as requested. I took £800 in a 3 day period and they closed my account saying " Due to a recent decision they dont allow sites like mine". I sell online internet software, written by myself and sold by myself. Nochex Recently closed our business merchant account without warning for selling natural supplements, which they approved one year ago when opening our account in the first place. We dealt with a guy called Lenny at nochex compliance team and he was not helpful and just didnt care that they had messed up our family business. They cost us thousands in damages, gave no warning or reason and have kept our money. DO NOT USE NOCHEX WHAT EVER YOU DO. We are now going with a real merchant company instead who actually cares about their customers are we are filing a case with the FSA & HMRC as they have violated their own T&C's and have put our family in a financial crisis for no legal or valid reason as we did not violate any of their policies. Pls people, DO NOT USE NOCHEX, you will regret it.

NoChex is a payment provider very much like PayPal but aimed at the UK market. They have been around for quite some time and I have had an account with them for 5 or 6 years now. In that time, I really haven't had many problems with them as far as I can see. I do run a small website and take payments and this is where my NoChex experience comes in. There seemed to be a higher number of cards being refused when people try to pay with NoChex that other payment providers, such as PayPal. They also have restrictions on amounts that can be sent.
