NUS.org.uk is the official website for NUS (National Union for Students) providing up to date information about news and new offers relating to the union.

The website itself is very clear and set out effectively, the main central column is filled with the latest news stories relating to NUS as well as some information on their latest events and work. On the left you'll find the navigation menu to help you find exactly what you are looking for, which is great. Then on the right there are the usual search options as well as the opportunity to sign up to the newsletter. It's good to see that the website isn't cluttered with adverts to try and raise funding as well leaving space for some new and relevant offers.

It acts as a great insight to find out more about the work NUS are doing to help out students and is vital if you want to keep up to date with a current story such as their recent fight against the cap being lifted from tuition fees.

As well as this the website itself is the one place that you can go to, to find all the latest and active offers you are entitled to. You can find a list of all available offers divided up into related categories and even get the terms of the discount before you go to use it.

Unfortunately you do need to create an account to find out about the offers, which seems slightly unnecessary, as you should be able to see what you are entitled to before you purchase an NUS extra card. Nonetheless it is a great service.

Overall NUS is a great resource and whether you are part of the union or not, it is the best place to go to in order to find out about student affairs and news. Highly recommended.
