We had a lots of problems wit Octopustravel.com
We booked a hotel in London for 1 night.
We arrived at that hotel in the evening. BUt than, they said that all the rooms were full beacause of restorations....
But they offered to drive us to anyother hotel in the northern part of London. It would be the same company and the tube way to London city center would be even shorter.
After waiting 30 minutes (!) for a driver, who drove us through the whole city in his own private car, we arrived at that "hotel".
It was not a hotel. It was a block of flats for the underclass. They offered us a room which was shabby, dirty and smelly. It was even broken, the kitchen contained holes....
We directly told the driver to call his chief to tell her our dissatisfaction. We got another room, a littlebit better, but again, it was not a hotel standart. It was small and dirty everywhere. We even didn't have hot water. Is was all in all a nightmare.
BUt because we wanted to see London at night, we told the driver that we take that room and will complain us the next day after.
All in all, we missed our flight back home, beacause we didn't now how to get to the airport from that new location. We didn't even had breakfast (we booked breakfast for 2 persons).
I did so just as i arrived at home. We wrote several mails to octopustravel, but we didn't get an answer.
After 2 weeks, they wanted to know the name of the woman who "gave" us that "new hotel room". BUt after that, they simply ignored us. I wrote 4 detailled e Mails with pictures i it, but we didn't get an answer.
After 2 month and threatening them with bad reviews and a lawyer, the phoned me, and explained, that they have nothing to do with such a hotel and that we won't get anything of our money back.

You better look for another travel agency. i surely can NOT receommand Octopustravel.
