Advantages: 40pound
Disadvantages: it took me almost 1year to earn that money
What is it?
Onepoll is one of many survey websites that help you to earn some extra cash; you get paid to answer questions about mobile phones, pizza or your favourite celebrity.
Unlike many other survey websites onepoll offers plenty and frequent surveys to its members but pays you only a few pennies for your participation. I much prefer survey websites like surveyhead or lightspeedpanel - they only have a couple of surveys per week but pay a lot better.

How to sign up?
Signing up for onepoll is quick and straight forward; just go to www.onepoll.co.uk and then to 'sign up'. They are now going to ask you a few simple questions about yourself like age, gender, DOB etc. The only thing that I really don't like is that I had to enter my phone number as well - I absolutely don't see any sense in that but then again I've never received any call or unwanted spam via my phone.
As soon as you entered these details you can start earning money.

How to earn money?
When you logged in your account you have to select the big blue 'Survey' button which you'll find on the start page of your profile.
You'll find either the notification that there are no surveys available for you or a list with surveys you can take part in.
No e-mails are send to your account to notify of possible survey options - you have to check your account daily to see if there's anything online for you.
You have to read the survey description as they sometimes state that only women or married people are allowed to take part. The good thing about this is that you don't waste your time answering tons of questions just to be told after 5min that you don't qualify.
You can expect up to 3 surveys everday, but there are of course days without any.
Onepoll offers two different types of surveys, the ones that you'll get pay for and surveys that don't pay but you'll have the chance to win a prize. These prizes seem to be 25 to 50pound Amazon vouchers or Ipods - I never won anything so cannot really comment on the prize and how likely it is that you win something.
Making money is unfortunately quite hard on onepoll - in over 11 months almost daily participation I made the astonishing amount of 40pounds! That is because the surveys don't pay well, typically between 5 and 10pence - the maximum I had was 20pence for one survey.
This sounds like little reward for a survey but you have to see that these surveys are totally different to the ones on other survey websites - they only take a couple of minutes and are really easy to fill out, sometimes you'll get 10p for one single question.
The surveys are not very interesting, most are repetitive and some don't even make sense; don't be too surprised that when you stated in question A that you don't have any children question D will ask you how many of them go to school - with the minimum answer '1'.
Also, they seem to focus a lot on celebrities, eg when the survey is about travel destinations you'll inevitably find the question 'With which celeb would you spend your holiday with?' on the end of the questionnaire.

How to redeem your money?
Finally I reached the cash out minimum of 40pound - which is really a lot of money given that one survey only pays 5p. I actually guess that the threshold is so high that the site hopes that people give up halfway through and never claim any money.
Anyway, I finally reached the 40 pound and claimed my cheque the very same day. The website informed me that it would take up to 28days for my cheque to arrive but it was in my letterbox ofter only 2 weeks - a really pleasant surprise.
There is also the possibility to receive the money via bank transfer and PayPal but as I never used these options I cannot really commend on them.

My experience
It took me over 11 months to reach the ridiculously high threshold of 40pound and I deleted my account as soon as I received my cheque. With the variety of survey websites available onepoll.co.uk is one of the worst options, it takes too long to earn any money and the surveys are most of the time absolutely senseless and boring.
I'm happy over my 40pound but I absolutely cannot recommend onepoll to anyone!
