Advantages: No screening out.

Disadvantages: It takes long time to reach payment.

OnePoll is a paid survey website, which undertakes a wide range of market research projects, working on behalf of companies from various sectors within the UK and around the world.

General information

1. sign up

Signing up for an account is quite easy. It just takes minutes to fill a form about you. Do remember you can get £2.5 credit for signing up. You also can refer 5 friends and get £1 credit, even if your referrals don't sign up.

2. take a survey

Unlike most paid-survey websites you don't need to get any invitation. What you need to do is to log on the website and click 'surveys available for you', and start to participate in.

There are two kinds of survey on OnePoll: one is named 'paid for survey', another one is named 'competitions survey'.

Typically it pays 5p, 10p or 15p per 'paid for survey' and you also have a chance to win an Amazon voucher or a gift for 'competitions survey'.

Mind you all surveys have expiration time, especially the 24hr survey will not take long.

Upon your successful completion of the survey your account will automatically be credited.

3. get paid

Cashout is at the £40 level and will be paid directly to you. You have three options: cheque,BACS and PayPal.

Personal experience

1. What I like?

It's easy to take part in their survey without any pre questionnaire, not to mention screening out.

There are broad ranges of survey on OnePoll. Some are very interesting and quirky. I have learnt a lot from these surveys. However some topics are really annoying.

Most of surveys just take 5-10 minutes and the reward is 10p. Although OnePoll said they pay from 10p to £1, I just have had one chance to be credited 60p and a couple of times for 20p.

2. What I dislike?

It has a high payout set especially you can just get 10p per survey. It seems take ages to reach it.

If you did not complete a survey fully before you submit it, you will lose your all answers and have to restart it.

The reward design has no logic. Some surveys might take 10 minutes, but the rewards are 5p; some might just take one minute, but the rewards are 10p or more.

3. Tips:

Log in OnePoll at least once per weekday; be careful with long length surveys when they come across.

4. Conclusion:

Principally I like OnePoll. I joined in OnePoll 8 months ago and I have logged in the website regularly. Not counting one month holiday I have used 7 months to reach the payment.

When I requested OnePoll pay me to my PayPal account, I was told I will get paid in 10 working days. Surprisingly I got paid in next day. It's really amazing.

If you are a patient person give it a go. Patience is a virtue and it gets paid.

P.S. This might be posted by me on other websites under username happysh2009 or Blossom.

Took me 12 months to get my £40 and I won't be bothering no more with it!
