Advantages: Quick, simple to use, interesting subjects

I am a member of several online survey companies, and one of the first ones I joined was Onepoll. Onepoll is different from the majority of survey companies in that they do not send you surveys when they get them, they relly on you to log on and check.

Onepoll also tend to do shorter surveys, never more than a page long. These are more opinion pieces for newspapers and magazines than market research for a new product or to investigate shopping habits.

The topics are always changing, and are more interesting than filling out the usual pages on motor insurance than mobile phones.

Onepoll also runs youngpoll, a similar polling site for children and teenagers to earn a few pennies, as well as a cashback site, similar to quidco.

You can earn up to £1 from refering friends to onepoll, even if they do not sign up, which is a great way to boost your earnings. Payout is at £40, and is in cash. I find these arrive quite quickly, which makes me think more highly of the company.

However it does take a long time for the £40 to be reached. Each survey usually pays 10p, however some pay only 5p, and around half only give entry into a prize draw.

Surveys are released several times a day, so it is worth checking back frequently as each survey usually closes within a few hours.

Overall I find onepoll is a quick and easy way to build up a few pennies a day. It usually takes about 3 months to get a cheque though, so do not expect it to make you millions overnight!
