A site I came across on 'money saving expert' (Martin Lewis is a god), One Poll is a survey website that pays for your answers on polls (hence the title).

Sign up is extremely simple.

Once signed in, there are four tabs; Surveys, Your Account, View or Edit Details and Sell Your Old Mobile (Im pretty sure when I signed up the last tab was Sell Your Story).

Registering automatically credits you with £2.50, which is a good starting point.

By clicking on Surveys, you are taken to a page that lists all the polls that have been released and available to you. Everytime you complete a poll, you are credited to a balance.

These opinions are used for a wide range of newspapers and magazine statistics. It is also responsible for some polls on the show '8 out of 10 cats'.

What may put people off using One Poll is the pay out target of £40. When most polls only pay from 5 to 10 pence, this can leave you disheartened.

You are also rewarded £1 for every friend or family member you introduce...I have not received anything even after everyone I invited signed up.

The polls are not normally over 20 questions, with short snappy answers, you dont spend more than 3 minutes on survey. There are 3 different types of surveys; competition (with the chance of winning Amazon vouchers), 24 hour (where a higher amount is paid) and normal surveys.

You must log in to view any new surveys, just save the website in your favourites and check daily Mon to Fri.

It may take me at least 3 years to reach the £40 target but patience is the best policy.

Summary: A survey website with a difference.
