Advantages: Quick and fun surveys, good if you are a parent, fairly frequent surveys

Disadvantages: Slow payout threshold

When I signed up to Onepoll I had high hopes. As recently becoming self-employed I've joined a number of these sites in order to a) keep me entertained in quiet periods and b) try to earn a little extra cash. Unfortunately, I found this particular site to be very frustrating due to the high payout threshold and the low payment per review.

The payout threshold is £40.00 and given that you only earn between 5p - 15p per review, this takes an age to reach. I've been with them for 3 weeks and have earnt £4.35 so have a way to go.

Survey frequency is good - you are likely to get about 2 to answer per day and if you have children this is likely to be more as many surveys relate to kids. There is also no screening process. It relies on honesty as states who the survey is for on the opening page. I've never lied about a survey and answered inappropriate questions so not sure whether it would work or not.

Surveys themselves can be quite fun and range from any subject matter from celebrity culture through to childhood memories. The advantages here over other companies is that the surveys are generally quite fun multiple choice and are fairly quick to answer - usually about 5 mins each.

Join this one if you are very patient as it could take a year to reach the payout threshold.
