Advantages: No getting frozen out of a survey halfway through, quick to complete

Disadvantages: Small rewards can make it slow to reach the payment threshold, not all the surveys are well written

Onepoll is not your typical market research site as a some of the surveys you can complete are sponsored by companies wishing to generate some publicity through newspaper articles.
You cans see some of these in their "Press" area which contains an archive of articles which have come from in some part a Onepoll survey (my favourite so far being the article which claimed 10:16pm was the most popular time for nookie and tying this in with the start time of match of the day 10:30pm).
From the start they will give you £2.50 credit with more if you refer your friends and they sign up too which is almost a golden hello.

When it comes to surveys they differ from the rest as they tend to be short and you can see from the beginning if you qualify to take part so none of those annoying answering questions for 5 minutes only to find out you're not part of the demographic they want to hear from and get frozen out.
The trade off for these short snappy surveys is that the reward for taking part is small typically in the £0.05 to £0.10 range, though the site says they can go up to £1.00 for 24 hour surveys but I haven't seen one of these yet.
There is another type on there, the competition where you will be entered into a draw for a prize; so far I've only seen £25 Amazon vouchers offered as prizes.

The threshold for payment is £40 and this may take a while with the small amounts on offer for each survey, that said they are fairly regular and its best to log on to the site daily (Usually Monday to Friday, have received 1 Saturday survey so far) to see what's available as they won't email you when there's a new survey to take.

Personally I use this as an addition to my survey taking activities and so that I have something to do in those usually unproductive few minutes after I've got home from work.
