Advantages: Short and sweet surveys, often funny
Disadvantages: Could take a while to reach cash out point
Onepoll is one of the many survey sites that are available. The homepage is fairly simple. In fact, the only buttons that I use are the 'Surveys Available For You' and the 'Your Account Summary' buttons.
When you click on the 'Surveys' button, you then scroll down to see what surveys you can do. These are in boxes at the bottom of the page. There are varying rewards for completing a survey, which include entry into a draw for a £25 Amazon voucher and varying cash rewards. I have only seen the surveys for the amounts of 5 and 10 pence on there, but I believe that higher amounts may come up now and again.
Pressing the 'Account' button takes you to your account, strangely enough! The format is to show a bar indicating how far along you are before you can cash out, along with the actual amount you're on above that. The cash out amount is £40 and it's in the form of a cheque.
Now, what I like most about Onepoll is their surveys. They are quite often funny and raise a chuckle. They're short and once you click into a survey, the whole thing is on one page, so no clicking the 'Next' button and waiting whilst the page loads up.
The price paid per survey is only tiny (typically 5 or 10 pence), but it soon mounts up and you also get £2.50 for signing up. There is usually between three and five surveys for me to answer each day, sometimes more. Now, not all of the surveys are relevant to me, but this site tells you that clearly, even before clicking into the survey, which doesn't waste time.
You also get the option of hiding surveys so that they don't appear on your list of available surveys, if for example it's for a parent and you're not a parent. This prevents you looking at it whenever you access the surveys page.
I'm only on £7.15 but for 5 minutes on the site per day, that's not to be sniffed at. If you have at least five friends, you can also earn £1 into your account.
It's a site I'll be sticking with, as it's quick, very easy to navigate and it quite often makes me laugh. And hey, it's free money!
Summary: If you're thinking about joining, send me your email address and we can both make money! :o)
