Advantages: Quick and easy surveys for cash

Disadvantages: Very low payments, high payout threshold

onepoll is a very simple site that aims at people completing very short surveys for a very small payout. However, it takes us so little of your time that it's no real bind.

I signed up a couple of months ago, mainly because it promised to not screen you out after a bunch of quesions, which pretty much every other survey site does. You get £2.50 just for signing up, which is pretty good, and then you get a bunch of mini-surveys sent to you. Their website states that the surveys could range between 5p and £1 for each one, although I haven't had one for more than 10p as yet.

However, this is no problem. Each surveys takes a maximum of five minutes, and most take considerably less. There are also a number of surveys offered to you that give you entry to win £25 in voucher format, or sometimes added to your cash account. I have entered loads of these, although I haven't won anything yet.

There is quite a high payout threshold, though, at £40. That's a lot of 5p and 10p surveys to take!! However, in the couple of months I have been a member, I have racked up nearly £10, and it really takes only a couple of minutes out of my day to check the surveys. Don't bother trying to work out whether it's going to be worth using as a main source of income, as it won't, but you get to complete short and interesting surveys and get a bit back for them. It's not a lot, but it's better than nothing.

I recommend this site. Don't look at it as a get rich quick scheme, as you'll ultimately be disappointed if you do. I get on average 3 or 4 surveys a day, mixed between 5p and 10p and the competition entry ones. I usually complete every one, but there have been days where I've just forgotten. The surveys don't stay there for ever, normally just a day or two, so it's not a bank booster. However, at this rate, I'll scrape £40 at some point early next year, and it'll be a nice addition for not much effort.

Summary: A survey site with quick surveys

I've reached payout once and they pay very quickly. But I've given up recently - too much work for not enough money. Might go back in and see what it's like now.

I've been with these for over a year now, and the most I've ever recieved for a survey is 25p. I really don''t think the £1 ones exist.
