I discovered OnePollCashback through the related survey site OnePoll which I had been using for a few months by then. It was the first I'd heard of cashback sites and I used it to claim £100 for swapping my mobile phone provider, which I was planning to do anyway. That seemed like a pretty good deal so I've been using it regularly ever since!

The basic idea is that you can claim free money (cashback) on purchases you make online by accessing the sites via links from OnePollCashback. There are other cashback sites out there but even though this one isn't the most popular or well known its actually my favourite. The main reason for this is that cashback generally tracks and validates quite quickly and you don't end up waiting months and months to get the £5 you earned for ordering your food shop online!

The site is very easy to navigate, you can find retailers by looking through a menu on the left of the homepage or by using the search bar at the top right. The newest and highest paying offers are featured on the front page and sometimes you'll get a link to a 'VIP code' where you can earn additional cashback on top of the standard offer, these can be via e-mail or through pop ups.

If your cashback doesn't track, there is a simple system where you can submit a 'ticket' and the claim will be investigated. It can take a while but the admin team are quite good at responding to questions. I've only had to make a few claims in the several years I've been using this site.

Payments are made on the first working day of every month, and if you have a balance of over £25 then it will be paid automatically into your bank account. Since I joined about 2 years ago I've earned £554 in cashback, that's a lot of free money just for making transactions I would have made anyway! I highly recommend signing up and having a look round.
