Advantages: Access your favorites on any computer

Disadvantages: Poor interface, too technical

You've got to admit that it is a very nice idea. How many of you out there have different "favorites" on different computers? Yes, I though so.

Onlinefavorites.com basically claims to be able to integrate your favorites and store them on the Internet so that you can access them online from any computer - be it at home or at the office.

The registration process is fairly quick and you will be set up and ready to use Onlinefavorites.com within minutes. Simply enter your name and standard form requirements, such as country.

The problems begin when you actually start organizing your favorites. In order to import your favorites onto the Internet you have to download another program called Favorites Convertor. However, even after you have downloaded this program, the interface is actually quite complicated and seems cluttered. After all there are many individuals like myself who want to just click ‘n’ upload. You may call me impatient, but I don’t want to be spending half a day working our how to use the Onlinefavorites.com interface. I want simplicity and want it now.

It may be that I didn’t give Onlinefavorites.com a fair chance, but that is no fault of my own but simply a poor interface. If you’re willing to give it a proper go, however, then you could well reap the benefits from this nice idea, which, in my opinion, isn’t adequately fulfilled.
