Opening line is a well designed and graphically pleasing site. When it comes to resources there is an emphasise on the North of England but there is also plenty for the rest of the country. The workshops are now closed for admissions but there are still a lot of relevant things for aspiring writers to find and make use of. The articles can be accessed in the form of downloads which could be read off line, helpful for saving on-line bills depending on what type of connection the user has. The section for magazines lists several magazines for writers and those interested in literature, it also clearly marks the publications looking for contributors.
