For my 'other website' review, I had only one real choice: www.whatthetech.com This website is all about helping people with computer problems.

I recently found my computer to be playing up. In particular, google was diverting to other sites (which I knew was a serious problem). After trying to mend it myself, I completely broke the PC, leaving it in a state where it wasn't even connecting to the internet anymore. My wife was mad, and I was sad, and then (from work) I came across whatthetech.com

The website is basically set up by computer experts, and is all about helping you mend and avoid computer problems. They have an active set of forums where you can post your problems, and someone will take you on and help you out.

Let me say right now that I got, for free, a serious amount of help that completely mended my computer, cleared it of viruses, trojans etc, made it work quicker, and cleared up all the rubbish on it. I was helped, every day, by one of the teachers, who took me step by step through how to mend my computer.

At the end, I gave a donation via paypal (the option is there), and I recommend everyone do the same.

The home-page contains hints, tips and general advice, but it is the forum that takes it further. You need to register, and of course you may be a bit dubious about following someone's advice on computers, such as 'download this, do this do that', so let me help you rest assured that it works, and the people there are good people.

As if that wasn't enough, they have a training section where you can try and mend problems yourself and get trained on how to do so. I just love it!

So, all in all, you should go to this site if you have computer problems, and join the forums.
