In my search to learn more about Italy I came across an amazing website. Http://www/virtualtourist.com.
You can build our own homepage with pictures of your previous travels. You also have access to forums where you can ask other travellers and residents of the country any information you need on Accomadation, travel, what to see, restaurants, wheather and basically anything you need to know about the area.

The site has over 466 000 members.
Membership is for free. You have more than enough time to build your pages and can upgrade and change whenever you feel like it.

You can make friends, ask questions, look at other members travel pages, dangers and what to avoid, great pictures, accomodation, etc.

If you run a B&B or have accomodation available in a specific country you can read all the questions asked in a forum and offer your services.
A lot of people have questions on accomodation.

The site navigates extremely well, is fast and in the 3 months I've been a member never had a problem logging on and had al my questions answered.
