Advantages: pays out reliably
Disadvantages: none
I am currently only employed part time in a bar so alot of my time during the day is spent at home and more often than not online, as a result of this and my need to earn more/spend less money I have found myself seeking out Pay to Click (PTC) and Pay to Read (PTR) sites as well as those like dooyoo and ciao which need much more input on my behalf.
OurPTR2.com is one which I found and am very keen on, it benefits from a very low payout level of just 1c, this amount will be paid out automatically in the first 2 weeks of the month. In the 6 weeks I have been a member I have had two payouts to my paypal which after being converted to pounds have a value of 73p.
So how have I accumulated this vast fortune! Well as with all PTR sites you are expected to click on the links which can have either point or cash values. The cash value is usually 0.025c, and for points more often than not 1 point although there are occasional 2 point clicks to be found.
The site is well laid out, across the top of the screen are sections entitled Account Information, Other Information, Earning Options, Shopping, Fun and Games
Account information is pretty self explanatory, containing;
Your Account, which is the account details you submitted to join the site.
Earnings and Spends, this has sections with your earnings, your redemptions and referral statistics.
Promotion Tools, this allows you to put banners and links on to your own websites.
Refer an advertiser, more links to for referrals
Advertising Stats, a section I dont use as I dont advertise on the site.
Upgraded Ads, another section I dont use.
Other Infomation contains;
Weekly Admin, every week the site admin posts a message to the members - which always has a paid link at the end of it.
Older Weekly Admins, this is an archive of the previous admin messages.
Fetch Mail Instructions, one of the things I like best about the site is that all the mails are kept on site so you're email account wont get clogged up but if you want it directing out to your email this is how to do it.
Support Forums, I havent had to use these as the site is easy to use but any questions can be answered in here.
Internet Safety, hints and tips for keeping safe online and spyware and virus scanning software.
Paid to Read, this sometimes has some extra links in it so is worth checking occasionally.
Now the section that is really important, Earning Options.
Your Inbox is the first one on this menu, another one which is pretty easy to work out. The messages will be held for 15 days before being deleted but most will be sent every 24 hours so you can only click them once in that time (ie once a day). Here they are a mixture of point and cash clicks.
Pay to Click, this has its own menu which I will cover later.
Weekly and Monthly click contests. The details of the contests which are running on the site as well as details of the closed contests.
Extra Special Clicks, this section is blank until you have 1000 point clicks a month, not an easy target to reach given the way the site runs but once you have this section will give you a link which enters you in to a draw for a prize last months was for 5 free referrals but it changes monthly.
Exchange points. A section I particularly like, it allows you to exchange your points for cash, which is something most sites wont allow you to do or is done automatically by the admin at random intervals. But you can also 'sell' your points to other members setting your own price, although I have tried this and not sold any so exchanging with admin is the better option.
Caught Promoting, if you see someone promoting the site elsewhere you can report the link to admin, once they check it out you will recieve a reward.
Report a bad link. To use paypal they have to meet several criteria if you see a link which doesnt meet them you can report it here.
And finally Contest Winners.
As the Pay to Click section has its own menu it is explained here.
Point PTC's.
Cash PTC's.
Paid to Promote. Point clicks which other members have placed in this section to gain credit on other sides (effectively their referral links).
Contest Clicks. The links here have no value as clicks but if you win the prize it is 1c to your account - enough to reach the payout threshold.
Merchant PTC's. Merchants add their links to this section, usually the links are worth between 0.025c and 0.5c.
Shopping, the section has Merchant Vault, and Shop with Amazon, but I haven't used this section so am unsure about how it works.
Fun and Games is a section I like. There are free to play games for which you earn no credit. Also prize games for which you can earn cash credit my favourite is Hangman, you can play an unlimited number of times a day but there are only limited paid clicks if you win (usually about 4) which are worth 0.01c. There is also a trivia game which I don't play. A magic wand game you have to choose one of three wands once a day if you choose the winning wand you get 0.01c. And finally there are crossword games which you can only play once but when you complete the crossword you have to email admin with the secret word, for this you get 5c in your account, at the moment there are 4 crosswords avaliable but they can only be played once.
The site like most uses turing numbers to ensure that you don't use clickbot software. But you can upgrade to have these removed. It also uses cheat links to catch clickbot users - the cheat links are easy to identify, if you click one by accident as long as the timer doesnt exprire before you close the window you wont be 'credited' with the cheat click. But if you have 3 cheat clicks your account will be deleted.
The runnerbar across the top of the opened screen has a count down timer which is usually set to 15 seconds. Once it reaches 0 your current credit stats is shown, as well as any extra links, following these can earn you a fair amount of extra credit, like the other clicks these are usually avaliable once every 24 hours.
As with all sites there are referral links, and you will recieve a proportion of your direct referrals earnings, there is only one level to the downline (If you are interested in the site I will give you my referer link if you would like it).
There are two payout options the first which I use is the automatic payout monthly, or you can save your earnings for amazon vouchers but you need $10 for these and they are sent out as dollars and not converted to pounds so not so good for UK users.
If you want to advertise on the site as a member you can change your points for adverts they have a good range of advert options.
So overall this is one of the most worthwhile sites I use, I know it pays out regularly, while not large amounts I would rather the value is sitting in my paypal account than in an account where I cant use it - and though not a concern with this particular site with others there is always the concern that the PTR/PTC site will actually be a scam and not payout.
Summary: More clicks to earn.
