I've written quite a few opinions on HTML tutourial websites recently, but I've found pageresource to be one of the best.

Pageresource.com is a superb web developer tutorial & information site for both beginners and professionals.

Along the top of the website is a About.com navigation bar. This provides links to "Internet and online How to's", free web related newsletters and a section about the internet.
The "How to" section is particularly good providing the "How to" articles, which are perfect for internet beginners

These "How To" articles include:

* Family Internet
* Focus on AOL
* Internet Conferencing
* Internet Games
* Internet Games for Kids
* Internet for Beginners
* Internet for Kids
* MP3/MIDI Music
* Net Culture
* Personal Web Pages
* Shareware/Freeware
* Web Clip Art
* Web Search
* Worst of the Web

Many of the About.com links open irritating pop up adverts, however this is not true for the pageresource section.

The website has a good layout and is well designed.
The homepage is dividing into three main columns, the first contains the main categories, e.g. developer topics, such as HTML, CGI, JavaScript, Aritcles, hosting etc.
The middle section contains links and descriptions to many different tutourials, e.g. HTML, CSS, javascript, DHTML, graphics tutourials etc.
The right hand side column provides links and descriptions to "whats new" on the website, i.e. new articles and tutourials.


--The tutourials--

The tutourials are divided into easy to read sections, e.g. for the HTML tutourial the first section is "Getting Started".
The other sections then deal with the more advanced HTML, including DHTML tutourials.

There are so many useful tutouria
ls on this site related to HTML, DHTML, Javascript, Troubleshooting guides, web graphic/image and FTP tutourials, its brilliant!
Why buy a book on web design when its all free here...


--Other Features--

The website also has sections related to graphics, FTP/hosting and general articles.
There are also many different forums, including HTML and Javascript beginner forums is case you want to ask a question or if you've got a problem.
Also there are forums for professional web builders.


--Conclusion--

This is a excellent resource for any beginner or web developer.

Each tutourial is divided into easy to understand, well written sections.

Pageresource.com is certainly a 4 star website!
