Advantages: Money Money
Disadvantages: Damn toobar
PaidForSurf is another GPTS companythat might also go under the guise GPTUYC (see GetPaid4 review above) since they pay for all the time you spend using your computer, so long as the advertbar is open of course. This means that you can get on with your word processing, emailing or whatever and still earn money. The Overview... PaidForSurf are a GPTS company so after joining and downloading the advert-program (called the "SurfBar" here) what you get paid for is all the time you spend using your computer (obviously online) whilst the viewbar is visible onscreen. PaidForSurf do not impose a limit on the number of hours of surfing (general computer use) for which you will get paid in a month. They pay approx. $0.40 (£0.25) per hour for your time and they require you to earn $20 by the end of a month if you are to get sent a cheque in the 'next mailing cycle' which is approx 60 days after the end of the month. The upshot of this is that to get paid each month you must simply surf for more than 50 hours and since, in this case, surfing doesn't mean just web-surfing but also the general use of your computer this should pose no great difficulty. This scheme has also proven easy to use and is pretty reliable. The website is perhaps the least impressive part of the company because the web-servers can often be a bit slow and unresponsive. However, the stats. are always accurate and it isn't too difficult to generate the required number of hours. Additional "Plus" Points... Extra credit goes to PaidForSurf for having no limit on the maximum number of hours that members can earn money on in a month.
