No doubt you'll be familiar with the hit US TV show where some gangsta rapper with droopy trousers and a penchant for saying Yo Homey a lot takes some clapped out rust bucket of a pickup truck and transforms it into a mobile cinema complete with Jacuzzi. Sadly the UK equivalent is pathetic by comparison and the less said about the Top Gear presenters attempts to create stretch limos from cars as bizarre as a Fiat Panda and a two seater MG roadster the better. Still there are things we Brits can do well and snacks are one of them. Think how delicious a McVities Jaffa cake is, think how fabulous it would be if it were the size of a dinner plate. Firstly, this site has now changed it's name to pimpthatsnack.com (legal stuff). I was introduced to this site by one of the trainees at work who had just finished university. The site in effect contains submissions by people (mainly students!) who have "pimped" their snack. This can be anything from making a jaffa cake twelve times the size of the normal kind you buy in the shops, to pimping their version of a flake with crunchy nut cornflakes. The main part of the site is the area where people have submitted their procedure for making the snack. These contain detailed notes and pictures with some diagrams for making moulds etc, ...
