I heard about this site and decided to join, you fill in form with all your usual details and then put more about you such as interests, what makes you unique and what you are looking for. I joined with an open mind but am disappointed. There seems to be alot of people on the site that have been hurt which isnt their fault but you are meant to sell yourself, so to read things like "my last guy cheated on me, no liars or cheats" isnt appealing, maybe wait till you talk to someone first. Plentyoffish.com has a strange title but do not let this put you off! POF, as it is known, is a mixed bag! Most site advertise as being free but do not offer everything on this deal- POF does. With POF you can search for users, view their pictures, and even contact them all FREE! This is great concept meaning that there are hundreds of other users close to you who realise the same thing as you "why pay?". Its not all roses though... I would not bother with this site at all. You will soon see why it is free. There are loads of single mums who have many children who are looking for a father figure. Women who have trouble spelling even the basic words such as loveing and careing. If you do get a reply you will do well if it is spelt correctly and normally is in text speak "Hi hw r u?" seems to be the norm. I consider myself a connisseur of these dating websites and, unfortunately, Plentyoffish.com is poor. Either I was very unlucky or doomed to start with, but the site featured an extraordinary number of, what can only be described as, "chavs". You see, I truly believe in paying for a good service....and the mere and simple fact that this site is free means it will attract a large number of timewasters.
