Poetry.com is a competition site, where you write a poem (20 lines or fewer) on any subject/style. Each month there is a grand winner who receives about £750.

There are lots of other smaller prizes as well. There is also an annual prize of about £7,500 for the best poem that year.

You also get a chance of being published in a book, although you have to pay to recieve a copy of it. You also have to pay about £10 if you want to publish a comment about your poem.

This site also allows you to read through other poems and gives you links to other poetry sites.
