Advantages: Free stuff, genuine

Disadvantages: Slow to get anything, and spam

What is pointshop all about?
Pointshop is another one of these free websites, in which you get points for doing various things, for example, writing blogs or signing up to campaigns (more on this later). Each action has a different amount of points awarded, for example, each standard blog can earn a maximum of 20 points, but a "special blog" which pointshop decided the theme, can each up to 30 points.
So, what can you get with these points?
Pointshop has a special online shop, with a very large range of different products, from PS3's to sweets, from which you can get things. The cheapest item, a sweet, costs 80 points, and something like a ps3, well lets just say, that would take a lot of blogs!

So, what are the pro's?
Pointshop is genuine, and does actually ship the goods. All the goods i have sent for have arrived (although they do take a while to arrive, it takes a long time to be shipped from Denmark or where ever they are).

And the cons?
There are a number of cons with pointshop.
Firstly, the products are just too highly priced, or it takes to long to accumulate points (depending which way you look at it). I have only managed to buy a sweet mix, and a little keychain thing.

Secondly, as you get points by signing up to campaigns, you will find that your inbox will slowly start filling up with spam. I advise that you use a new email address just for pointshop, (use a yahoo account, they have a really good spam filter as well).

So overall?
Although i have quite enjoyed my time on pointshop, i fear that my time on there is drawing to an end, i get way more money per hour say on dooyoo, and pointshop just ends up filling my inbox with spam. Furthermore, as i am saving up for a laptop, pointshop do not give out money or vouchers, so they are not great in that sense, they are more for getting little gimmicks for keeping yourself amused.

Though don't let this put you off. If you have lots of spare time, and you want to sign up to more free online stuff, without having to write reviews or do surveys, then pointshop is a good site to go on.

Summary: I prefer dooyoo
