Postal gold offered me a pittance, I refused it on 2/11 and requested return of my goods, I then got an email advising payout made! They had sent my money to wrong bank account any way, I have requested return by E-mail and received a call to say it would be 10 days, nothing received 3 weeks later, so several E-mails all unanswered down the line I am writing a letter and getting proof of postage so I can begin legal action.

Steer clear of this company, at best they are unequiped to do deal with correspondence, at worst !!!

Postalgolds first offer for my jewellery was refused,I requested the return of my gold. A second offer - nearly double was also refused. I told them I wanted my gold returned to me as in their advert. They advised me in an email I could put the money for the cheque -which I have still not got - in their bank account and they ...  Read the complete review

I sent gold to postal gold and thought it was worth over £700, I would have accepted around £500 but all they offered was £105. When I said it was not enough they said they could sell it retail and offered £190. I have returned the cheque and am waiting for the gold back. They have emailed me to say it is on its way and could take up to 10 days.

Sue - Manchester I sent 210 grams of gold to postal gold. they sent a chque for £627 which I returned and requested my gold back, I eventualy got my gold back and took it into H and T pawnbrokers and received £1003, so I would tell people to forget sending gold to postal gold and take to a local shop when they offer a much better deal

I posted off 100 grams of mixed gold to postalgold.com and was offered £350. I then asked The Manchester Gold Company fora price and they paid me £895!!
How on earth do we get such a discrepancy? Postal Gold have been unable to tell me but I can tell YOU one thing

Don't use them!!! These postal gold companies may well advertise that they pay a high price but I can assure you that they do not. I was paid in cash straight away without having to give my bank details....

I recently sent three items of jewellery to PostalGold.com. I have a gold allergy, so thought it would be a useful way of recycling and have a payment in return. I submitted my jewellery, and was disgusted to receive a measley amount of £3.57. I, consequently, contacted the return payments line, for the return address, which is not provided on any documentation. They offered me an extra £2.00 for my jewellery! I returned my cheque by First Class Recorded, which PostalGold would have received within the stated seven day return period, to enable them to return my jewellery.
Unfortunately, they denied receiving the cheque in time, and sent it for melting! They resent a cheque for £5.57. I have, consequently, reported them to the Trading Standards Authority.
I would advise anyone not to send jewellery to this company. They are not reputable.

I`m fully aware that in this time of recession the purse strings can potentially be stretched to their limits. Not everyone has an endless supply of wonga at their disposal. This gives rise to certain unscrupulous charlatans that like to capitalise on the financial misfortunes of others. Sometimes they manifest themselves as just common or garden ...  Read the complete review

Times are tight at the moment and every penny counts. I had just put the baby to bed and sat down in front of the television for a moments rest. An advert caught my eye. It was for Postal Gold. They were saying they could send me money for broken or unwanted gold such as jewellery and could offer me more than a pawnshop or jewellers. The company ...  Read the complete review
