Advantages: Can use more than once search engine to do search, checks links to see if they are working

Disadvantages: Since being over-taken it doesn't have the same feel.

If I needed to find something on the Net, I always relied on Profusion..!!

Profusion uses all the top search engines to find what you are looking for..

Or if you want you can choose (by selecting from the options) what search engines you want to use to find what you are looking for.

It is excellent.. rather than going from one search engine to another (cos one place didn't find what you was looking for) you can use all the search engines together just by entering the keywords in one place.

Another cool feature of the site is that if you want, Profusion will check the links for you, if they work then fine, if not then you will be told that this link is either not working at the moment or doesn't exist. This will save you time from going to web sites and then finding that it don't work.

One other cool feature is the option to open the web site in another window, I became used to this feature and now pressing right mouse and 'open in new window' seems quite long winded..

I sugested this site to DooYoo.. but at the time of writing this opinion the site has been taken over by 'IntelliSeek' and for me, although the features are still, it doesn't feel the same anymore.. and no longer is it my main search engine.. I've not moved to using 'google.com'
