I love puzzles and crosswords and often when my wife and i go food shopping i pick myself up some form of crossword book to keep me entertained. I normally opt for puzzler as thats the one im used to as my mum used to buy it when i was a kid and i used to steal it from her and do all the Arrow Words and easier puzzles.

I came across puzzler's website http://www.puzzler.co.uk when i was entering a couple of competitions i had completed in the magazine and i had run out of stamps to send of my entries.

What i found on their website was a whole host of different puzzles, it has all the same kind of puzzles as in the magazine like Crosswors, Kriss Kross, Sudoku and Word Searches as well as all kinds of online games and forums.

Once you have set up a account, which is simple and free you can also enter a host of competitions that are online too and usually new ones are added every couple of weeks.

On the whole i love this website as to buy puzzler in the shops is around £1.50 to £2.00 and this has all the fun of puzzler and costs nothing as well as having the competitions to win.

I was complaining to my wife that i thought competitions were fixed and i had bet that winners only come from people who send in their enteries by post, my wife just laughed and told me to stop being so silly. I had entered about 100 over the last 6 months with no luck at all and i had pretty much forgotten about half of the things i had entered until last week when a i got a letter from puzzler and a brand new Nintendo DS game that i won on a crossword. I was delighted despite the fact i dont have a DS but to win was pleasant and has made me more determined to make sure i enter every competition on the website just in case.

Good website for people who like puzzles
