Advantages: Easy to use website, good levels of cashback, excellent customer services

Disadvantages: occasionally things don't track

Quidco is a cashback website where you get a percentage of the money you spend on retail websites back via Quidco. This is by far my favourite cashback website. I have signed up to others in the past such as greasypalm and also pigsback but have found that Quidco have the best range of merchants on there and also pay very decent rates of cashback.

If you are going to buy something online - a product or a service, always check Quidco to see if the merchant is on there. Even if it is only 1% cashback of your spend it all adds up and will be money that you wouldn't have otherwise had.

Quidco charge you £5 per year as an admin charge and that is all - plus they take it from your cashback earnings so you don't have to pay anything up front.

In the past couple of years I have gained about £500 cashback. I could have got more but until the last few months I had temporarily forgotten about it so there was a period of about 6 months or so where I didn't really use it that much.

When you click on the link for a particular merchant it tells you how quick the payout is and how likely it is to track. I find this very useful and something that other cashback sites don't have. For example if I am buying car insurance and one insurer will offer me £50 cashback but has a poor tracking rating (meaning a risk of never seeing the cashback) I would rather go with a merchant that offers me £40 cashback but with a high tracking rating as I have more chance of seeing the money.

It is important that you don't rely on the money being paid out but that you see it as an extra bonus if it does. I think there has only been 2 items that didn't track for some reason in my own experience.

Quidco will pay you by paypal or BACS. I think BACS costs 5p for them to do this and it is worth it rather than paypal where you would get charged to withdraw the money to your bank account if it wasn't over £50.

You can choose the level of cashback you want to collect before it is paid out. I have chosen £5 as i quite often get lots of little bits of cashback and don't want to wait months until I have a larger payout coming in order for it to go into my bank account.

I love this website and it is so easy to use. I have started using Marks and Spencer online more than the actual shop as you get 5% cashback with Quidco. I might see in item I want in the shop but buy it online to get the cashback. This only of course is worthwhile if M&S have free delivery at that point.

There are also sites on Quidco that give you cashback just for signing up - eg newsletters, or signing up to a subscription of something (but making sure you cancel before you have to start paying), also Bingo sites etc that give you sometimes £20 or £30 cashback for depositing and playing through say £10. I have done a few of these but I actually prefer not to sign up to everything and get lots of junk emails or have to remember to cancel things before i get charged, however there are lots of these to do and money to earn if you can be bothered.

The Quidco customer service team are very good too - and another reason why i prefer them over other cashback sites. I have needed to make about 4 queries over things not tracking or payment not recieved in the past and have always had quick and informative responses and 2 times out of the 4 they have manually put through the cashback where it hasn't tracked.
Ultimately I am very impressed by this website and it helps make the pennies go a little bit further when you are buying things online that you would be buying anyway without cashback.
