Advantages: Well laid out, well run, easy to use, easy to register.
Disadvantages: Some rates aren't the highest available.
Quidco.co.uk is an online website which is free to join and can help you earn cashback on your shopping and online activity.
The site is free to sign up and you will need to provide information on yourself such as creating a username & password and providing your e-mail address so that you can validate your account to confirm that the details provided are correct.
The main purpose of the website is to allow you to log in to your account and then search for a retailer that you are going to be making a purchase through. You can then see how much cashback (normally as a percentage of your spend) is being offered from that retailer, you then click through to the site via the link provided on quidco and then you will carry out your purchase in the usual manner and within a day or two the cashback will be pending on your quidco account.
Quidco charge an admin fee each year of £5.00 but this is taken out of money earnt and therefore if you don't earn any money in the year you don't have to pay the admin fee. This may seem a little expensive but for most people just renewing car insurance, home insurance etc online will make money in excess of £5.00 and it is affectively money for something that you were going to be purchasing anyway regardless of whether or not you found cashback.
I would highly recommend Quido, it's a well run, easy to use website which has a fantastic help area and lots of great retailers for you to browse through.
As ever I would recommend shopping around on some of the other cashback websites to make sure you aren't missing out on a great deal somewhere else.
Cashback will normally take anywhere between 30-60 days to be confirmed on your account and the payments can be received via BACs or Paypal (Maximum of £50.00).
I am rating this site 4/5 as the rates of cashback are quite good but other websites don't charge an admin fee and do have slightly better rates on some retailers.
Summary: I would recommend this, especially if you were buying those items anyway! Earn some cashback

- 14/04/09 I love quidco. I am on various other cashback sites but never seem to get very much. On quidco however, I currently have £167.93 and, have saved a fortune on both my house and cr insurance. Also quidco don't bombard you with emails all the time. |
