Advantages: Free. easy to use
Disadvantages: Money takes a while to get back to you
If, Like me you really need to purchase something, like buy some christmas presents for example, and it can't be avoided but you really can't justify spending the money, or you really just don't want to spend the money, then Quidco is for you!
Sign up as a member for free and every time you need to buy something, check their website out first to see if you can buy it from one of the merchants on there, they do have loads to choose from.
So I'll give you an example, I'm going on holiday in 3 weeks and I really needed some bikinis, but I'm trying to watch what money I spend.
I signed up to Quidco, found Next online shopping which I use regularly and browsed away.
I purchased a couple of bikinis and some holiday clothes and I've got a fiver in my Quidco account now!
Doesn't seem like a great deal of money, granted, but it's surely better than what you were recieving before... nothing.
Signing up is free, although if you have more than £5 in your account it takes it out of your account after a year, so if for example you try to withdraw £10, it'll give you £5 and take £5, this only happens once a year though, so it's well worthwhile signing up because I know many people who make much more than Quidco charges.
So essentially you can sign up and earn money with them, it will only charge you when you withdraw and this only happens once a year its so simple and easy to use, the site takes a couple of days to track your purchases so don't panic if it doesn't show up right away, and if it doesn't show up at all, still don't panic because you can contact Quidco who will investigate it for you to ensure you get your cashback.
Once the money is in your Quidco account it'll take about 2 months to move into your bank account, so if you do a lot of Christmas shopping on there, think of the reward you'll be getting come January February!
There really is no excuse for anyone to not use this site as its really easy!
Summary: Definately worthwhile!

- 22/09/09 If you have £5 or more in your quidco account it still is a £5 annual service charge. I've made nearly 100x that though so I don't mind paying it :o) |

- 22/09/09 When I joined it was £5 per year to be a member, and I was only really managing to cover the cost of membership. I haven't used it for a while, but I might go back to it now if it has become free. Great review :) |
