Advantages: Simple to use, easy registration, major retailers, good cashback offers, quick to use
Disadvantages: Takes some time for funds to be validated but this is to be expected
Quidco is a website which offers cashback for your online purchases...heard it all before and there's always a catch? This site is different and simple to use:
1 - register for an account
2 - use the links on the site to make purchases through the merchants
3 - get cashback awarded (this will take some time as the merchant needs to validate your purchase)
4 - quidco take your account fee of £5 from your cashback awarded (this is taken once a year)
I registered for the site and did not expect to use it much myself but it has some brilliant stores like Next and Play.com registered and for me these are stores that I use regularly so instead of me doing my orders as normal and getting nothing for it I decided to register and take a shot and in my first 2 months I made £40 cashback (£35 once my fee was taken). Since I started using the site I have found it second nature to go in and double check if the stores I am using are on quidco as it doesn't matter how small the cashback percentage is so long as I am making some cashback rather than not.
Positives:
- Simple to use
- Easy registration
- Fee is taken from your cashback so no upfront registration fees
- Cashback is offered from major stores
- You make cashback on purchases you would normally be doing anyway
- Cash paid direct into your bank account
- No marketing emails
Negatives:
- Takes some time for cash to be validated (understandable but frustrating)
All in all this is a site well worth using as you just do your normal purchases and get cashback for doing as you would anyway.
Summary: A brilliant and simple cashback site
