Advantages: covers all ages, loads of good ideas
Disadvantages: none
I think this is a fantastic site for parents of kids of all ages. The site has advice on practically any subject, all tried and tested by parents just like you and me. I have 5 kids ranging from 8-14 so you can imagine what life can be like sometimes in my house. The best advice that I could give anyone would be don't have 5 kids. Luckily Raising Kids features advice from experts as well as other parents. The feature that interested me most on the site was being a product tester for childrens products. By joining the panel of product testers you receive free products to try out free of charge as long as you let them know what you thought of the product. At the moment I am waiting to receive some free samples of disposable loo seat covers aimed at children under 11. The site also features 24 hr chat, competitions, shopping as well as latest news stories of interest and developments in education. This site is also keeping an eye on the chancellor of the exchequer and his plans for families in the future, which I found quite useful. The site shows you ways that you can tactfully raise issues with youyr kids such as sex, drugs etc without causing a major argument. You can ask questions on all sorts of health and diet issues, learn how to set house rules and get ideas on how to stop your kids from fighting amongst themselves. (cor that'll be the day!) I would recommend anyone with kids to take a look at this site.
