I used Ratedpeople.com for the first time and was pleased with the job that phillip holloway decorating services did.Caulked around all windows and doors before applying 3 coats sandtex masonry paint to my newly rendered bungalow.He was a nice person and turned up when agreed.I am pleased with the finished result.

I needed some work done. put two jobs up on ratedpeople and was contacted by two contractors one for each job. the two used big company names (KD carpentry, and B1 interiors) when you look at the websites of these companies you will get very very very impressed, but when they came to quote me they turned up to be cowboy individuals not linked to same companies you see online. when i asked them if they were different to to these big companies, they told me all sort answers can only be believed by idiots ! one answer was: I used to have that domain name but I gave it up few years ago and that company took it. well if you used to won that domain how can you be ...  Read the complete review

Ghyllside Builders responded quickly regarding the problems with my leaking roof and carried out all the work promptly. They replaced felt and lead, repaired the fire wall, replaced a faulty gutter, and dealt with other matters pertaining to rain damage. I'm happy to have them return to do less urgent work later in the year.At all times Alan Purton emailed photos of the state of the roof, the ongoing repair, and the completion of the repairs, and his charge for all this was reasonable. All rubbish was cleared up, and the staff were quiet and pleasant over the time they were here.I would recommend Ghyllside to anyone with roof problems.

I had Lukasz from rated people decorate my bathroom he did a great job including putting up plaster boards to cover the horrid ceiling I had, he also put in spotlights which made such a difference in the bathroom, painted the walls and skirting boards. He did a great job, would use him again.

Rated.com is the worst site on the internet. This site is monitored and all negative comments are taken off. But the customer cannot comment! I don't understand this, surely it's down to us the customer to make a comment on how well the work is done!?! Take the above company for example, this man is the worse cowboy in Leeds! He has been bankrupt so many times and all his services he cannot do nor his he qualified. He is a glorified handyman who drives around in a big truck doing nothing. He has 2 men working for him who know nothing about anything. Mr Thompson has caused considerable damage to many properties.
