Advantages: some very clever and funny cartoons

Disadvantages: some needless and childish sexual content that to me, ruins the site

I first came across this site many years ago when the video "we like the moon" was being passed around the internet like a hot potato, and recently decided to rediscover some old favourites.

Having revisited the site, I left with mixed feelings. The cartoons fluctuate between masterful comic ideas and needless filth, some of which is incredibly disgusting. At best, the videos are bizzare (spoooooooooonguuuuaaaard!), hilarious (the misheard lyrics section, particularly destiny's child) and just plain awesome (the rather ingenius 'tales of the blode' series). Many of the original songs are also funny, but some are just horrible.

One of Joel Veitch's (the site's creator) trademarks is bizarre and horrible photoshopped human/animal hybrids that feature in many of the videos. These are very distinctive and effective, and probably the reason why the site is so famous to this day.

In summary, give it a try, particularly the cartoons I mentioned above, but beware that the site contains some potentially offensive sexual images in a few of the cartoons.

Summary: Worth exploring if you are not easily offended.
