Although now we are left with Reel as a film information and gossip centre, let me take you back to the good old days... Reel was the bestDVD retailing company around, especially to us Brits who have to import R1 DVDs from the US. Since the demise of reel.com as a DVD retailer, we are now left with reel.com the movie database, and although it is comprehensive in its coverage, you can’t help feeling it lacks the depth and comprehensiveness that its main rival imdb.com has. It does still offer very frequent updatesd and a valuable resource for alternate information, although all rating seem to be a plug for sales at its partner site www.buy.com which tends to put you off believing its honesty and integrity somewhat. Nevertheless it has a lot of valuable information that may not be found in other places, and the information it gives does tend to be more specific to the DVD itself than the ...
