Rightmove is the UKs number one property search website. We are currently hunting for our first home, and I check rightmove daily. Rightmove provides a user friendly interface, clean, uncluttered format for viewing properties. The search facility on Rightmove really sets it apart. I only ever get the properties I want to look at, no accidental properties in Surrey cropping up when I search for Newcastle. Right Move allows you to search for and browse properties all over the UK and even overseas. You can search by specific towns, areas or distances from postcodes. Rightmove.co.uk is a great comprehensive website if you're looking for a property to buy or rent. It features almost all of the major estate agents and you the search is simple to use yet quite advanced. You can search by localaity within a certain radius of your preferred location/post code and you can search by type such as house style, number of bedrooms, new builds etc. Some areas can have a lot of property so it's useful to be able to filter your search results and narrow down a selection. During my extensive search for a new house I have spent many hours on rightmove. It is the only house sale site I bother using as it contains by far the widest selection of properties. All estate agents advertise their properties on there so the only properties for sale that won't be on there are private sales. You can filter searches much more exactly than on many sites so you can search for a specific postcode, or in a radius surrounding an entire town.
