We are currently looking to move to a new area and I have been doing some research into the cost of rented accomadation. The internet is full of property websites and trawling through them I found a lot of them difficult to navigate, threw in properties that didn't really match your search, didn't give enough information or simply didn't have the volume of properties to chose from. Rightmove.co.uk ticked all these boxes. Now, it's really the only one I use to check what new has come on the market.

The website is bright and easy and clear to navigate. Searching for property is easy, you simply type the name of the town in the search box and click 'for sale' or 'to rent'. You are then brought up with a list of all the properties available in the area. If you want to refine your search you can do by choosing max and min bedrooms, distance from chosen location and by price. The search is instant and the result are well laid out.

The results are brought up by price, in decending order. Each result gives you a good size picture, price, location, one sentence description and a contact for the agent. Clicking on the properties that catch your eye give further information such as when the propery is available, more in depth description and usually more pictures of the property. There's also a link to request the details instantly and a map to show you exact location with distances to local train stations.

For ease of use and sheer quantity of information I've found this the best property site on the web. You'll find all the properites listed by other sites plus more besides.
