Rightmove is the best home search site on the net by a mile. It may not have ALL houses for sale on but it has the vast majority. I use it on a daily basis to search for new listings near us.

Layout
The website is really easy to use and you can search using a range of criteria i.e. price, type, no of berooms and more importantly 'added within.. last 24hrs, 3days, 7days etc.

Content
The content is very good and has everything you would need to decide whether to view the house or not. The one downside is that sometimes it doesnt give you a direct telephone no. to the branch you need. Many properties offer virtual tours or full details in pdf form.

Extras
This website has a 'house price' finder facility. This is excellent if you want to be nosy and find out what your neighbour paid for a property or if you are thinking about buying a property and want to know what it sold for last.
Rightmove also has a monthly property guide (usually 1st mon after the 15th) which covers recent market trends ( a must read for anyone looking to buy). Its pretty tricky to find but if you look in the 'house prices' section its right there.

Overall
Super website - well worth using.
