Right Move allows you to search for and browse properties all over the UK and even overseas. You can search by specific towns, areas or distances from postcodes. Your search can further be refined by features such as property type (e.g. houses), price, date added to the website etc. You can also choose to search for houses for sale or houses for rent, so it's perfect whatever your situation. When you have set your search, you can order the results by price (ascending or descending) and click on each property to view the details. There are usually quite a few pictures for each property - more so than most other property search websites show - so you do get a good feel for each property. You can also download the schedule and click through to the estate agent's website. On the right hand side, you'll find a map showing the location of the house and links to find out about local schools etc. My only criticism of Right Move's search is that you can't filter by house type, e.g. detached or terraced. For that reason, I often choose to search on ESPC (Edinburgh Solicitors Property Centre) first because it allows me to search by house type. Overall though, the Right Move website is easier to use and always has more properties listed than ESPC, so it's always worth a look!
