When I recently moved house, Right Move proved to be an invaluable resource. It is an essential resouce featuring properties on sale from a wide variety of estate agents across the UK and even abroad.

There are a number of ways you can search from properties such as by postcode or by estate agent, you can even search exclusively for new homes. The interface is really well done & allows you to easily navigate through the site.

The site really makes it easy to compare loads of properties in a particular area. If you like something you can click into it for further details and additional photos. All the big estate agents are featured on this site so you will normally get a good idea of what is selling.

My favourite part of the site is where you can take a look at how many sales there have been in a particular area over the last year or so, as well as how much the particular properties sold for. I like to keep an eye on this just to see what prices in my area are doing.

If you are the owner of an Iphone, there is now also a Right Move application allowing you to browse properties whilst on the move.

So if you're looking to move house, Right Move will prove essential in your hunt.
