Advantages: Nothing hidden

Disadvantages: CHarges for card transactions-avoid this by using an online visa electron card

Ryanair's website is everything a budget airline website shouldbe: TRANSPARENCY is the key here. Many detractors of Ryanair moan about having to pay for check-in and hold luggage. However you could never say that that prices are not clearly displayed and absolutely optional. On searching for a flight, the website immediately displays the fare and taxes combined to give you a real life price-nothing hidden there. As you go through to the section where you begin to name each passenger, the add-on prices become available. You are able to chose online or airport check in (although soon only online will be available) and outline which luggage option you require and whether you want insurance or priority boarding. Now, while all this may add up, if you are only going away for a short break and are happy to take only hand luggage and grab a good position at the gate to ensure you get a good seat on the plane, there's no cheaper way to fly-I recently boght my parents return flights to Milan for £4!
