In need of a holiday? No funds in your bank account? There must be a way round it surely? Ryanair will sort you out! I have flown with Ryanair a few times and each time I've not expected much of them. Afterall, you pay a budget price, you get a budget flight and budget experience. Don't expect fantastic service and you won't be disappointed. I've only ever been on one Ryanair flight that was on time. The others have all been delayed from anything from 5 minutes to an hour! They actually play a little celebratory tune on board when they arrive on schedule so that in itself shows that it's not a irregular occurrence!

From when you first see the '1p flights' offer online to the time you click the confirm button, there are hidden sneaky add ons throughout! For a start the usual taxes and charges make your original 1p flight into a £49.99 flight. Then if you fancy actually taking some luggage, this will cost you £30 per case per person if you're checking in online or £40 per case per person if you're checking in at the airport! By the way, even if you check in online, you still have to queue to drop your bag off with everyone else who is queuing to check in or otherwise so beware of this! Also be aware the luggage allowance for your £30 is only 15kg so pack light!

You will then have an extra add on for paying by any card other than a visa electron! This will bump another £5 per person per way onto your final price.

The plane itself is just like any other, not different. The cabin crew are on commission for the sandwiches and drink they sell on board. These are extremely overpriced do I'd advise have something before you board or just wait till you've landed. Overall, due to being stung by Ryanair one too many times, I will only use them in dire situations. They are great if you're only taking hand luggage and paying by visa electron! Just don't let them dictate to you what you need to pay for what I think is bottom class service!

Summary: great for those who need to get away on a cheap holiday and fast!
