Season workers is a great website if your planning on working abroad or doing a winter or summer season.

Working abroad in my experience has been both fun and challenging. You are virtually as soon as you get there thrown into a job that you may not have done before, and you also have to make friends with the people your living with at the same time. If the weathers nice it can be amazing, as you can go to the pool or the beach all the time, see new cities and places, and everyones in a good mood.
If its raining its a different story, the customers get angry, theres nothing to do apart from sit in your tent, and the kids are grumpy as they cant play outside in the field and you have 36 kids squeezed into a play tent.

Its not for everyone, but this website is a good place to start looking.

You can use the search function to find the sort of job your looking for. There are jobs as ski instructors, chalet hosts, waitresses, bar staff and creche workers in ski resorts. For those who like the sun there are rep jobs, nannying, aupairs, campsite staff and other jobs like these.

There are a lot of people on there who do seasons constantly, and it can be a good way of living for a while if your not too sure where you want to settle down or when. This website is a good way of making sure youve got a guarenteed job for both seasons, and that you see the full range of jobs and companies available.

You apply through the website, and then hopefully get a reply from the actual company. You can look on the companies own website to get more information about the job.

There are jobs all over the world, including working on a camp in USA, ski instructor in france, campsite rep in france, kids rep in france, and loads of rep jobs around europe. There are also jobs in the uk for companies such as PGL and these seem to pay a bit more, but then you also get accomodation for free and food. If you work abroad you get paid less, sometimes no food included, but you should get accomodation.

Another great part of this website is the forums. You can find people who are working in the same place as you, and start making friends before you even get there. You can also find out more about the area and what there is to do on you days off. Its also useful for finding out what your uniform might look like, how much you can be expected to get paid, and other parts of season life that you may not have thought about.

This really is a great tool for getting into season work, there are still jobs being advertised for the summer season, so if you fancy it, check out the website and just do a general search for summer work!
