www.seetickets.com is an online ticketing agency specializing in selling concert tickets for a wide range of artists and music events. I had never heard of this site before using it but I was directed there via the official website of the artist I was wanting tickets for and so felt I could trust the site. The link initially directed me to the website: www.bookingsdirect.com which seems to operate in conjuntion with seetickets.com. Indeed, a ticket search gave exactly the same results on both websites.

The website's header is quite simply 'See' and the main page has a groovy, modern design. A top menu has links to a specific kind of event and there are options such as: Rock, Pop, Sport and Theatre. Rolling your cursor over this menu then brings up a further menu with more broken down options. For example, under the 'Rock' category there are options including: 60's, Goth and Metal. In brackets after these sub-headers there is a number which indicates how many events they can offer tickets for. Clicking through you are taken to a page with a list of the artists/events under this particular category.

There is also a side menu on the main page which allows you options such as joining the mailing list, reading music news or searching for events in your local area.

There is a search engine at the top of the main page which allows you to search either by artist, event or town/city. There is also an advanced search engine which allows you to specify dates, countries and regions.

Once you have found the event you wish to book for you simply click through the options of 'buy tickets' after the listed date. This option takes you to a page where the event details are listed, in addition to what the total price will be once booking fees etc are added. If the event is a seated concert you must click on the 'find seats' option to search for any available seats. This then takes you to a page where you must specify how many tickets you require (the maximum on the concert I booked for was 6 tickets). The site will do a quick search then specify the seat number and row of the ticket they have available. If this is satisfactory you click 'Accept'.

The website is really easy to use and I find that it takes far less time and effort than other familiar ticket sites like Ticketmaster. The payment page is secure (check for the https at the beginning of the web address) and they accept all major credit cards.

To order you need a valid email address as confirmation of your order will be sent via email within 48 hours. Once I ordered my confirmation email came through within seconds. After accepting payment you are taken to a page which outlines your order and which gives you a telephone number to call should you not get a confirmation email. This page also gives you a reference number with which you can track your order and check the progress of your tickets through the mail. This is a brilliant feature. I recommend printing this page and keeping it safe!

I was impressed that seetickets.com was able to offer me a very good seat in the concert hall. Infact a ticket search on the website of the hosting venue showed a practically sold out seating area so I was surprised to be able to get quite a good seat.

Of course the company charge a 'booking fee' of £4.50 which is about average in comparison with other ticket agencies. This price does not include the mailing fee which is another £1.50. Tickets are sent recorded and need to be signed for.
