Sherdog.com is a website devoted to MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). It is one of, if not the, number one most popular site for the topic, and is an invaluable source of interviews and news.

The site has content that is updated daily, in the form of articles written by journalists. These cover a range of topics, but mostly focus on the UFC (the big name in the sport). At times, the UFC bias can be a little annoying, but this is changing since recently Lorretta Hunt (founder of the site) fell out with the UFC president, and is now trying to give a wider scope on her site.

The best thing about the site are the videos - you can always find pre-fight and post-fight interviews for major events, which are very interesting to those who love the sport.

The forums on the site are absolutely immense, but tend to be filled with hyper immature and negative people. It seems best to lurk (read but not post), and this is what I do. The forums are divided into categories, and don't just concentrate on MMA, which is pretty cool.

They also have a store, although being based in the US (the site, not me), I haven't used it.

All in all, Sherdog is a great site for up to date MMA news, and should be used alongside mmaweekly.com for the definitive knowledge of the world's most exciting sport.
