The hype of making money on the 'net has mainly focused on the 'pay to surf' programs, which involve displaying an ad bar on your desktop whilst online. However, other systems do exist, such as the one Skiddily uses. You make money each time you visit their page. This is not as good as it sounds, because you can only visit a certain number of times per day. Still, if you remember to do it regularly, the cents pile up. You also get paid for doing searches using their built in search engine. But, again, not for every search you do. This prevents cheating.

The site itself is a portal (like Yahoo) with various different content available. The content is rather sparse, and varies widely in quality, but in general it is of a reasonable standard. There is a customisable news feed, although it is hardly ever updated, so it's useless. The local weather feature is good, giving weather even in more obscure places such as my hometown of Exeter. There are Shockwave games to play, some of which are quite fun. The design of the site is basic, but very easy to navigate, with few ads, which is unusual for something like this.

The upshot is that this really only makes you money if you actually use the site. Considering that there are far better portals out there, I wouldn't recommend using this one, even if you do get paid.
