Advantages: easy design, quick to use, fun, attractive display, hidden tools

Disadvantages: can be a bit addictive!

I'm very often incredibly surprised that this site isn't quoted more often in the most useful travel sites ever devised. Sure, sites which give you deals and tailor made packages are useful, but Skyscanner has noted that not everybody wants to be in that market. Usually, one can save a huge amount on a trip away just by doing a bit of research, and Skyscanner is pretty much the only website which can effectively do this research for you....it is reliable, it works and it is actually quite fun to use.

When you visit www.skyscanner.net you are initially confronted with a very simple, layout which contains 'to' and 'from' boxes. I believe this is incredibly deceptive when it comes to Skyscanner's real use however....you can sort by cheapest flights in a selected month, the cheapest flights to anywhere and can even check if the price you've been given is 'live'....I can't think of any other flight comparison site which does this as effectively.

I'm incredibly impressed by this site and the almost hidden 'extras' and services it provides....I have booked three flights using its service and have saved money but more importantly time by doing it. What's more, it is genuinly fun to use, and a real sense of satisfaction can be had by finding a great deal. I would strongly recommend.

Summary: Would recommend this to any travel addict...savings can be had without trawling on the internet!
