Advantages: Great idea for a money maker.

Disadvantages: Dodgy media player at times!

Slice the pie, on a whole, is a pretty good website. Perfect for the music lover who wants to make a little extra money while having fun and listening to new, interesting and sometimes down right horrible music. (Swings and round a bouts!) Slice the pie can be a nice little earner and the money seems to add up pretty quickly once you get into it.

The site is easy to navigate, it has a nice modern look about it. Although it might look like something that has come straight off of photoshop. Everything is clearly labeled and easy to read.

The scouting rooms are very fresh looking and once again, easy to navigate. You have alittle count down under the track you're listening to (un-named until you've submitted your review) that counts down from 60 seconds after which you're free to write your review. Don't forget to rate the track, I rate mine based on how i think it would do in the charts and more to how I think the public would like it rather than my own taste as it gets you accuarcy up. I try and skip genres of tracks I'm not keen on as I don't think it's a fair judgement, specially if I've had about 3 in a row.

To increase your star rating you need to leave detailed and personal reviews. Not just things like 'the track was good, and the band played nice.' I find it's best to listen to the track most of the way through before writing it. I have wordpad up which I type little notes to myself in, which I join together at the end which I'd like to think gives a good review in the end! I aim for about 3 lines, but it gets pretty tough if you really don't like the track.

The only problem I have with the site is that I have constant problems with the media player, I don't know if it's just my computer but it takes a long time to send reviews sometimes, or skips tracks.

Summary: If you're listening to music anyways, why not get paid for it.
